Wire EDM machines incorporate a spool of wire, diamond guides and an automatic wire threader.   These machines can cut with greater accuracy and precision because the wire does not wear away.

 

WZ Tool has two 2018 Mitsubishi MV2400R Wire EDM machines on site:

Our Wire EDMs can use wire as small as 0.004" in diameter

Materials we wire are  A2, D2, M2, M4, 300 Series SS, 420SS, 4140 and various types of tool steel, including carbide.
